Staying here was an very nice experience! My Beautiful King Room was spacious and offered a comfortable bed, awesome for an amazing night's sleep. I loved how the hotel is steeped in history, with rooms that reflect the artistic spirit of the area and an outdoor swimming pool that added a refreshing touch to my stay.

Location: the hotel was right by Edward James garden and Leonora Carrington museum and Leonora Carrington and a '' restaurant '' called Plutarcos. The staff was friendly and attentive in any situation

i stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was absolutely fantastic, with great location close enough to xilitla for the surrealism of edward james, the main plaza, and leonora carrington museum. liked delicious breakfast.

Due to the age of the building, some amenities like electrical outlets require an upgrade. And tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice, especially during colder, wetter days.

loved it - the place is unique and suited me fine. the staff are amiable and amicable.

Staying at Posada El Castillo Xilitla was magical! The charming family atmosphere enhanced our experience, and the breakfast was good, with homemade banana bread and fresh coffee every morning. The gardens around the hotel was like stepping into a surreal dream.

While my Beautiful King Room was spacious, I found the absence of coffee-making facilities particularly inconvenient, especially after long days of exploring the area. The stairs leading to my room were quite steep and challenging for someone with mobility issues. The loud music from the bar next door occasionally disrupted the tranquility of the stay, and by the time it quieted down after 11 PM, my day was already winding down.

Charming stay with welcoming family vibes. The setup feels like a museum, rich in history, and my room had great views. The secret bar piqued my interest, but the Wi-Fi was inconsistent. A good breakfast started the day right, despite a few overlooked amenities.

The location is perfect, right off the main street, and the history of the place is captivating. The Beautiful King Room was comfortable, and having AC was a blessing. Plus, the pool area offers a lovely spot to relax after exploring the gardens nearby.

Essential surrealism experience!

Posada el castillo is an amazing place! The decor reflects the surrealism of the area, and the original art on the walls really enhances the experience. Breakfast is excellent, with homemade options that start your day off right. The location is also close to a lovely restaurant.
